The term was derived from the original meaning which taken literally meant simply going to the market to shop or to sell goods and services there. Before we proceed further, clear and crisp definitions of the terms that would be used in the text are needed. This is important to develop a clear and concise understanding of what will follow. Market Price is the total lump sum money that is actually paid for a particular asset. The worth of an asset can be further categorized into 2 broad genres. These are the individual worth and the market worth of the asset. Individual worth is the highest price bid by an individual purchaser who takes into perspective all information that is available to him in a very effective manner. Market worth, on the other hand, is the price at which investment would be exchanged and traded on the market. It is the place where buyers and sellers use all available information in a very efficient manner. According to some noted scholars, an individual’s worth need not be equal to the market’s worth. It is not necessary that it is equal to the market price or the valuation. The point in perspective is that an individual’s worth is dependent on certain specific inputs whereas market worth, on the other hand, is dependent on market views and consensus cum collaboration on inputs.

Lord Chamberlain Polonius Gets Murdered By Prince Hamlet Essay

Polonius, who was at one time, a useful, high ranking state officer, much respected by the late king, is murdered by Prince Hamlet. He has worked his way up through a lifetime of service to the court, culminating in duties which involved the effective management of the royal household. After the death of Hamlet’s father, he was loyal to the new king, Claudius, to the utmost. Throughout his career he was at the centre of affairs and respected by the royal couple despite his garrulity. His unsubtle view of life, his persistence in his opinions, and his ever-readiness to intrude in the affairs of others had gained him quite a good number of enemies. Polonius, who was hiding behind an arras in the queen’s closet, was answering to her call for help. This was when prince hamlet ran his sword through the curtain and thus Polonius who was behind that curtain was murdered. Throughout his career, he was equal to a summary of some pious book of moral precepts, full of appropriateness and sound common sense. OPHELIA DIES A MARTYR TO HER LOVE FOR HAMLET Ophelia, daughter of Polonius and Prince Hamlet’s lady-love, dies a martyr to her love for Hamlet and her devotion to her father. She was weak in mind and of a clinging kind. She looked to Hamlet as a support to herself in her life but he failed miserably in reciprocating her pure and true love. Frustrated in her love, her state of mind got aggravated by the murder of her father. Bereft of any support in life, she went mad singing rhymes to herself all around. She was brought up in complete submission to her father, and was always a most obedient daughter to him. Her noble nature persisted till her last breath. The persons who saw her last remembers that she left the scene with a prayer for all Christian souls. Her death was a blow to her brother Leartus for whom she was â€Å"rose of May. † She was impressionable, sensitive, graceful, innocent and very down to earth. Her innocent beauty and youth will definitely linger in the minds of all those who loved her.

The Nuclear Weapons Of The World - 1059 Words

A majority of the science and technology breakthroughs of the 20th century improve mankind and advance society. From antibiotics and vaccines to the internet and the cell phone, engineers and scientist grind to enhance the quality of life not only of the United States but the world. However, in a planet inhabited by humans, power rears its tenacious head and disrupts the balance of good and evil and manipulates situations that cause havoc and do harm. Consequently, in an era where war exists in any country at any time, weapon of mass destruction spark discussions amongst the world’s leaders, the UN, foreign ambassadors, and the citizens. The most talked about weapon is the nuclear bomb. The use of the nuclear weapons happens to be a taboo†¦show more content†¦These two scientists, originally from Europe, felt that the United States needed to join the atomic bomb race, fearing that Hitler neared the finish line and would attempt world domination. Apparently, Roosevelt agreed because now we know of the â€Å"The Manhattan Project† that conducted the testing of the atomic bomb. The original Nazi threat settled but war with the Japanese raged which resulted in the attack against Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The causalities astonished many people and the effects of bomb including sickness and burns saddened the hearts of the people in the United States (Nobelprize.org). Even Robert Oppenhiemer, who did extensive scientific research on the bomb stated, â€Å"I am become death, the shatterer of worlds.† This quote was pulled from a Verdic religious text and encompassed what everyone thought in the world in eight words. This war effort made by the U.S. occurred as a final resort to end the war but to many it was to solidify us as the ultimate superpower. Sadly, it backfired and the amount of countries with nuclear power increases as the years fade. Now, almost every country hosts their own nuclear weapons which raises concerns. The rapid develo pment of these weapons and what could occur if a country sensed the urge to attack with them looms and the United States appears to be a ginormous target.
