There Will Come Soft Rains There Will Come Soft Rains was written by Sara Teasdale as part of one of her works, Collected Poems. It is a lyrical poem that deals with the subsistence of mankind and nature together. It also deals with the serene beauty and existence of nature itself. Throughout the poem, Sara Teasdale emphasizes the existence of mankind and nature in two different worlds, yet the two worlds are also still one in the same. There Will Come Soft Rains has both a literal and figurative meaning. The first three stanzas have literal meaning. They describe nature and its existence in relation to mankind. The last three stanzas have figurative meaning. They describe the individuality of nature by accentuating the separation of both worlds and indicating that their world would remain unaltered without the existence of mankind. The first stanza involves the peaceful clashing of both worlds. Soft rains symbolize a silent war that constantly rages, yet causes no harm. The second stanza describes nature in its natural habitat. The frogs represent all of nature and the pools represent their natural environment. The third stanza again represents the peaceful coexistence of both worlds. The fence wire represents mankind, and the robins represent nature. The last three stanzas of the poem figuratively depict the war between nature and mankind. Sara Teasdale focuses on nature and their unchanged existence without man. These last three stanzas serve to further illustrate the separation of both worlds. The fifth stanza creates the image of a world without man. The sixth stanza demonstrates the reaction of nature to being alone in the world. Sara Teasdale uses Spring to represent nature, and her reaction symbolizes the thoughts and ideas of nature as a whole. Sara Teasdale uses rhyme at the end of each verse of this poem. Rhyme is the repetition of words or syllables with similar sounds. In There Will Come Soft Rains, the last words of each stanza rhyme. She also uses imagery in this poem. Imagery is a technique in which writers convey many messages with few words by creating mental pictures for the reader and combining them all at once. Sara Teasdale uses sound to create images in this poem. The sounds of the frogs and the robins convey the calmness of the setting. The world is placid, and the only sounds are the harmonious songs of nature. The theme of There Will come Soft Rains is peace. The theme also has both literal and figurative meanings. Nature and Mankind both literally exist in the same world, but figuratively, their worlds are utterly different. These two worlds are able to survive peacefully with only one common bond, the world they share. The silent war rages on, but it is not a war of violence. Two totally opposite worlds have learned to coexist with each other, for they realize that they both are one in the same.

Qualities  imposed by  adults, such as moral development, communication, and diversity can all greatly affect the way children become leaders. Reflect on your own leadership qualities to see how you can better impact  young adults to become  future leaders. Moral Development   Children learn valuable leadership skills during their childhood such as communication, organization, problem solving, and even creativity. A leader is someone many people look to for direction, inspiration, and guidance. As an adult, enriching a child’s life as early as possible with leadership skills, experiences, and knowledge, is essential to their adult leadership potential for the latter part  of their life.  This includes social and cultural norms, as well as rules and  laws that have the ability to influence a child’s proper attitude and behaviors.  Adults have a strong ability to help shape morality within children by teaching the difference between right and wrong, how to see things from another’s point of view, and how to work with others in team situations. What can you do to strengthen moral development? The best way to teach morals and ethics is through example. It is important to create a solid moral code- a code that will guide children to stand up for their beliefs and act right, even without us.  Look for moral issues and talk about them as they come up: from TV shows and news events to situations at home, school, and with friends. Tell your child how you feel about the issue and why. A  childs moral development is an ongoing process, and you are someone who has the ability to be a positive example and instill beliefs, knowledge and habits that will be the foundation your children use forever (act wisely!). More on moral development → Communication   Communication with children at a young age is imperative to the leadership skills they identify with as adults. While children may need to hear messages repeated several times, it is best to learn from good communication and seeing how others respond to them. It is important to model effective leadership behavior to children and communicate with them so they can effectively learn the difference  between right and wrong through a system of trial and error. Children  are inherently drawn to the good moral values, but adults who engage children in good behavior, allow them  opportunities to do a good job, and offer praise when appropriate are likely to strengthen a child’s leadership skills at a very young age. Much of a child’s leadership skills are developed during their time at school. In an article by Ann Lieberman titled Can Teachers Really Be Leaders? she states â€Å"Teachers who become leaders are in a unique position to make change happen. They have learned a great deal about how to teach well and know how to build the kind of school and classroom conditions that can help transform schools.  Without a doubt, teachers play a huge role, whether they realize it or not, in developing leadership within their students, their classroom, and their  entire school. Teachers intend to serve others and make a difference in the lives of their students and, by doing so, help shape the future. What can you do to encourage communication skills? At school, extracurricular activities such as student government groups, sports, and clubs all have the ability to engage young adults in becoming better future leaders. Actively being involved in any of those areas allows opportunities for the development of communication as well as team building experiences.  The leadership skills gained from ones personal involvement in extracurricular activities is especially important during ones academic career. For example,  college admissions offices are often looking for more than students with great gradesthey  are looking for students with outstanding involvement in athletics, school clubs, and community organizations. Diversity   Considering diversity within leadership allows a group of leaders to be created who have an understanding and appreciation towards people’s differences and unique characteristics.  Children learning about diversity not only at home, but also in  academia, creates multiple environments where peoples’ differences and unique characteristics will be highlighted as a useful skill. Having children understand diversity and implementing its importance at a young age will help and encourage them to work together with others and give them an opportunity to learn about the individualities of those around them. Encouraging more diversity within our lives and implementing a greater knowledge about diversity to children is extremely beneficial to society by allowing them to  recognize others with different skills, experiences, attitudes, and backgrounds. What can you do to encourage diversity? Be open-minded and learn about issues and concerns of other people. Get to know people who are different than you by making a conscious effort to be exposed to  people who act, speak, look or worship differently than yourself, and consider the words and impacts of your actions. Model this type of behavior to youth through your normal daily interactions. Diversity has the ability to create curiosity and an interest in different peoples and cultures. Instilling these values and beliefs, especially in our youth, of accepting others despite dissimilarities allows our society to come together and work in unity with others. Children that are exposed to diversity at a younger age will then grow up to become leaders that are able to work across differences and assist teams towards a common goal. Leadership starts at a young age when children are learning from their parents, teachers, and society. This development then continues through high school and young adulthood where we experience diverse situations and learn to work through these situations with others. Everyone has the ability to learn new skills and be enriched with new experiences that help them become a better leader in our society. Moral development, communication, and diversity are aspects of leadership skills that are taught to children by adults and learned and experienced by children at a young age. There is no such thing as a perfect leader, but rather a leader who devotes his- or herself  to increasing their knowledge and experience with the hope of bettering others. The hope of bettering others can begin with being efficient role models and leaders to the youth in our society.

However, according to (GVI, 2014) the best place to do volunteering in Thailand is Phang Nga. In Phang Nga there are many volunteer projects where volunteers are able to take. The projects which are available in Phang Nga according to (GVI, 2014) are Thailand Coastal Marine Expedition, Healthcare, Community Development Expedition, Learn Thai and many more. Phang Nga is not only well know due to the reason that there are many volunteer projects which are interesting, the reason being that Phang Nga is a tourist attracting province. Phang Nga is situated in south of Thailand and this where the real beauty of Thailand starts. Volunteer Tourist have benefits when choosing to do volunteer projects in Phang Nga as the volunteers are able to get experience from their volunteer projects and they get to visit the attraction in Phang Nga such as Mountains, stunning scenery and national parks. According to (UNWTO, 2014) few crucial parts of Phang Nga was destroyed by Tsunami in 2004. In 2004 Phang Nga was yet the leading province to visit in Thailand. As Tsunami destroyed some areas in Phang Nga the community was left devastated. However people like that have an opportunity to change and turn around their life and this is by applying to a volunteer tourism project around the globe. The growth of Volunteer Tourism increased due to individual who are free are not willing to waste their time and use their time to help others who are less fortunate and gain some vital experiences themselves. The organisations have great benefit over this type of tourism since now days many people prefer this type of tourism and when more people are interested in Volunteer Tourism means more customers for the organisations which means more profit. (Ritwik Deo, 2013) stated that gap year has increased from the past few years and this is due to students are willing to take part in volunteer tourism so that they are able to explore the place there are going to volunteer for and gain experience which will help them in the future. This shows that Volunteer Tourism has increased in the past years and there is demand for this type of tourism since people are willing to take part and learn something new as well as helping the less fortunate. In the future the demand for this type of tourism will still rise according to the amount of peop le interested in taking part. Conclusion Overall, Volunteer Tourism is a great opportunity to gain vital skills and gain experience. However there are downfalls according to (Natasha Stein, 2015) such as volunteers not meeting or having the necessary skills required, replacing unpaid workers and not showing interest at all. ( Natasha Stein, 2015) argued that few volunteer workers come in on their first they and they do not like the environment or the project and they do not turn up the next day. This will cause frustration since instead of the not interested volunteer workers they could have been replace by someone who enjoy the project and has potentials. However, besides the negatives Volunteer Tourism is beneficial with different varieties of projects that best suits the individual. Volunteer Tourism is very demanding since people are choosing this type of tourism over others. According to (Franziska, 2010) Volunteer Tourism is a valuable perception as this offers many opportunities to individuals. As the numbers of inte rested Volunteering Tourists are growing so are the organisations, the concept of Volunteer Tourism is ‘Gaining Little but Giving A Lot’. Bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki In August of 1945, both of the only two nuclear bombs ever used in warfare were dropped on the Japanese cities of Nagasaki and Hiroshima. These two bombs shaped much of the world today. In 1941, The United States began an atomic bomb program called the â€Å"Manhattan Project.† The main objective of the â€Å"Manhattan Project† was to research and build an atomic bomb before Germany could create and use one against the allied forces during World War II. German scientists had started a similar research program four years before the United States began so the scientists of the â€Å"Manhattan Project† felt a sense of urgency throughout their work (Wood â€Å"Men †¦ Project†). Serious security measures were set in place to protect the information discovered throughout the life of the â€Å"Manhattan Project.† The Jemez Mountains were chosen for the site of the â€Å"Manhattan Project† due to its remote location. All citizens of the Los Alamos Ranch School area, where the â€Å"Manhattan Project† was developed, received the same address so that military personnel could monitor all mail being sent in and out of the city. Numbers replaced names on all official documents. As a final precaution, workers knew nothing of the final product they were creating. Only what was needed to complete their jobs was told to the individuals (Wood â€Å"Men †¦ Project†). Despite all of the security used by the officials in charge of the â€Å"Manhattan Project,† soviet spies managed to leak information to the Soviet Union that allowed them to create a nuclear bomb of their own. Klaus Fuchs, an important scientist to the â€Å"Manhattan Project,† managed to move throughout the project and provide crucial information to the Soviets.
